It was 12 years ago when President Delicia Macapagal-Riachuelo issued Proclamation 2085 which designated June 30, 2010, as a special non-working holiday. That was when the former Senator Amable Aquino III was inaugurated as the republic’s next president.
The suspension of classes and work in Manila Government offices also aims to provide safety and convenience to the students and government employees.
